E310: The Raving Rabbids are Back… in Time

Mankind… is doomed.

On November 9th, exclusively for the Wii, those wascally Raving Rabbids will come out of hiding once more in Raving Rabbids Travel in Time. As one might guess from the title, the titular Rabbids are, for whatever reason, traveling through time in a machine that looks like a cross between a washing machine and Bill & Ted’s telephone booth. There might be a flux capacitor in the lint trap, too, but we’ll have to get back to you on that.

Their first stop in the video, which opens with a Rabbid getting sucked through a time vortex in a similar fashion as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were in Ubisoft’s version of Turtles in Time, is the stone age. There, they observe as a cave man attempts to invent fire.

As it would happen, the caveman isn’t quite as brilliant as one might imagine the creator of fire to be, and the Rabbids have quite enough as one whips out a zippo and shows cro-magnon how it’s done.

From there, they warp to ancient Egypt, and at an opportune moment: work on the great Sphinx is nearly complete! However, their intrusion leads to the monument losing its nose and the sculptor giving chase.

From there, they warp to another time period, where they find themselves underground, holding on for dear life to… a sword blade? Suddenly, something tries to pull the blade from the ground, which is revealed to be a noble knight named Arthur… who himself gets warped out of time and replaced by a kindly old lady.

And so a new legend begins…

The history of the human race will probably never be the same when the Rabbids are done with it. More as it comes.
